Who You Are

Justworks is seeking a Product Designer to help scale our Benefits experience, contributing to our Benefits team’s mission to provide peace of mind to admins, members, and their families. Justworks’ Benefits team is focused on supporting businesses that would not otherwise have access to enterprise-level benefits. We deliver reliable and compliant access to high-quality health insurance, the ability to save for their financial future, and support during life’s unforeseen events and major milestones.

Your Success Profile

• Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Put your collective best together through documentation, collaboration, relationship-building, listening, empathy, recruiting, and evangelism.
• Actively learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder.
• Consistently achieve results, even under difficult circumstances.
• Discover new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience designing web- and mobile-based applications.
• Experience designing for complex, content-heavy workflows, preferably in heavily-regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, benefits, or related domains.
• Experience working as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating fluidly with engineers, product managers, researchers, marketers, data scientists, and others.
• A portfolio of professional (non-speculative) design work for real-world applications; and the ability to present your work in the form of case studies articulating the design problem, your process, and the eventual business impact.
• An attention to detail, and a refined sense of craft in visual design, typography, and brand expression.
• Fluency in Figma.

Actual Compensation

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $127,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year.

Pay

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $127,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year.
