Product Designer

About the role

Uptech Studio is seeking creative Digital Product Designers to develop outstanding user experiences and visual interfaces for our clients. We are looking for individuals with skills in User Experience & Design, from strategy and research to visual UI design.

Responsibilities

• Understand and serve user goals
• Communicate effectively with designers, product managers, developers, and clients
• Problem-solve pragmatically, advocating for research, testing, and feedback
• Create designs that are consistent, visually appealing, and functional
• Work within design systems and brand guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects

Requirements

• Generalist design skills including research, mental models, personas, customer journeys, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and specs
• Strong UI skills translating high-level requirements and wireframes into user interfaces
• Attention to detail and consistency in typography, color, visual hierarchy, and spacing
• Experience with Figma and other design tools

Qualifications

• Proven work experience designing products and working with multi-disciplinary teams
• A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and approach
• Proficiency with Figma and/or other design tools
• Up-to-date knowledge of UI techniques, trends, and tools

Pay

The base salary for this position is typically $100,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Your actual salary will be determined based on your demonstrated skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and market conditions.
