About the role
Own the reading and doing path end-to-end for Reva: the session view, the dashboard, and the flow from describing your state to moving. Design for the phone first, keeping the visual system calm with white space, one sage accent, one soft amber for caution, and no unnecessary decoration. Sit in on user calls to ensure the person who designs the experience is the one who sees someone recover with it.
Responsibilities
- Own the session view, dashboard, and user flow from describing state to movement.
- Design primarily for mobile, ensuring the experience feels gentle rather than gamified.
- Maintain a calm visual system with intentional use of space, color, and restraint.
- Participate in user calls to observe and refine the experience based on real usage.
Requirements
- Five or more years designing software people use to *do* something, not just browse.
- A portfolio featuring at least one calm, focused, single-purpose screen you’re proud of.
- Ability to build your own prototypes, in code or close to it.
- A thoughtful perspective on motion and restraint, with the ability to defend it.
Hiring process
A 30-minute call with a founder, followed by a paid 2–3 hour work session on a real backlog problem. Then, conversations with two direct collaborators. Typically completed within two weeks, with clear feedback after every step.
