About Us We’re building the next generation of the TV operating system, reimagining the experience at the intersection of television, streaming, and how people discover and search. The Role We’re looking for a Product Designer who thinks in systems, questions assumptions, and can solve problems that don’t have an established answer. This is a hands-on role spanning product thinking, interaction design, and visual design. You’ll help define the structure and behavior of our TV operating system, where AI is woven throughout the experience, taking ideas from early concepts and user flows through prototypes, polished interfaces, and implementation. You should be as comfortable thinking about the big picture as you are getting deep into the details. One day, you might define how a new product experience should work; the next, you might prototype an interaction, refine elements of our design system, or test a concept with users. You’ll report to our Head of Design and collaborate closely with the founder, engineers, and marketing team. Beyond making excellent work, you’ll help define what great design looks like and contribute to a culture where design is central to how we build. What You’ll Do Own product design from early exploration and user flows through interaction design, prototyping, final UI, and implementation supportHelp define the right problems to solve, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraintsShape core experiences across our TV operating systemDesign for the realities of TV, with clear hierarchy, readable interfaces, and thoughtful voice first remote navigation and focus statesBuild interactive prototypes to explore product behavior, communicate ideas, and test assumptions before developmentUse research, usability testing, product data, and feedback to inform decisions and improve experiencesEvolve our design system, creating reusable components and patterns that help the team move quickly without lowering the barPartner closely with engineers throughout development, working through edge cases and ensuring the shipped experience reflects the design intentHelp shape our emerging design culture, standards, and creative point of view You 5+ years of experienceHave a portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, visual craft, and thoughtful interaction designHave experience designing and shipping products, at a startup, agency, or similarly fast-moving environmentCan turn complex or loosely defined problems into clear, intuitive experiencesHave a strong command of typography, composition, color, layout, and visual hierarchyThink beyond individual screens to consider complete journeys, interaction patterns, accessibility, and edge casesAre proficient in Figma and comfortable working with tokens, components, design systemsHave strong instincts but welcome feedback, evidence, and better ideasAre autonomous and comfortable making progress when the path is not fully defined Nice to Have Experience designing for TV, streaming, connected devices, or remote-based interfacesExperience designing conversational, voice-driven, or AI-powered product experiencesStrong motion design skills and an understanding of how animation can clarify product behavior and create delightExperience building a product or design system from an early stageFamiliarity with front-end development or code-based prototypingAn interest in exploring new creative tools and workflows, including AI, while maintaining a high standard of original craft Compensation Range: $170K - $200K
