Product Designer

About the Role

RADICL is looking for a Product Designer to help us redefine how small and mid-sized businesses in the U.S. Defense Industrial Base (DIB) experience cybersecurity. You'll design interfaces that transform a complicated, alert-heavy category into workflows users can confidently understand and act on. At RADICL, design isn't just about how the product looks, it's about whether someone can act on it.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate: Partner with our Senior Product Designer, engineering, and product management to take ideas from rough sketches to shipped features.
• Prototype fast: Leverage AI-assisted prototyping (including agentic and “vibe coding” tools) to rapidly turn sketches into interactive prototypes.
• Execute & Scale: Balance tactical UX/UI fixes on the live product with contributions to our growing design system.
• Own the Outcome: Take projects from ambiguous problem to polished, shipped solution with real autonomy, leaning on AI as a core part of your process, and help shape design decisions as the team grows.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of product design experience, with a portfolio showing end-to-end process, from research and wireframes through shipped outcomes.
• Strong proficiency in Figma (FigJam, Design, Make) for wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.
• Solid UX fundamentals: information architecture, interaction design, usability heuristics, and user flows.
• Experience designing sophisticated B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, multi-tenancy, or other data-dense products.
• Hands-on experience designing UX for AI agentic workflows.
• Experience designing within and contributing to a design system.
• Ability to move independently from an ambiguous problem to a working prototype.
• A track record of partnering with engineering and product to ship real features.
• Strong communication skills, and comfortable defending design decisions.
• Comfort balancing quick, tactical fixes with longer, more structured design initiatives.
• Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Figma Make) as part of your design process.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting or synthesizing user research and usability testing (Nice-to-Have).
• Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (Nice-to-Have).
• Motion design or micro-interaction experience (Nice-to-Have).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) or designing for regulated, compliance-heavy industries (Nice-to-Have).
• Experience working in a startup environment (Nice-to-Have).

About the Workplace

For this reason, we have a hybrid work model. As a team, we are in office M/W/Th with work-from-home on Tuesdays and Fridays. For remote positions, periodic travel to Boulder will be expected to participate in company events and meaningful side-by-side collaboration opportunities. RADICL offices are in downtown Boulder, Colorado with easy-to-access employee parking provided by the company.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000 USD per year (Boulder, CO).
