About the role
You will own the end-to-end design of our developer-facing product, with an eye toward making powerful technology accessible far beyond a technical audience. This includes reimagining the playground, bringing coherence to our API architecture and navigation, and building the systems that scale across surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Shaping the design of our developer-facing product from the ground up, working closely with engineering and product teams.
- Ensuring that the product is intuitive and accessible to developers, focusing on both visual appeal and functionality.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to iterate on designs based on user feedback and business goals.
- Contributing to the development of design systems and guidelines that can be applied across different platforms and interfaces.
Requirements
- Experience shipping developer-facing products.
- A proven track record of creating impactful designs that developers love and find useful.
- Strong understanding of API design principles and how they impact developer experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Comfortable with the full product design process, from ideation to implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in product design or a related field.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
