Product Designer

About the role

The role involves diving deep into the design problem of personalized learning at scale, validating user goals, mapping key journeys, and designing solutions that meet the needs of students, teachers, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Validate user goals and map key journeys
• Design solutions that address the actual jobs to be done
• Explore broadly and narrow down concepts
• Communicate design judgments effectively
• Set the design bar for the design system and philosophy
• Stay involved through QA and impact assessment

Requirements

• Experience designing and shipping real software
• Comfortable with being scrappy and iterative
• A desire to shape a category-defining product
• An interest in education and the future of learning

Qualifications

• Strong design skills and process
• Deep understanding of the education industry

Skills

• Ability to communicate design judgments effectively
• Experience with AI in design processes
• Comfort with rapid iteration and validation
