Product Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Designer with 2-3 years of experience to own design for our Core Workflows and User Engagement squads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating design solutions that align with user needs and technical feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions: Partner with Product and Engineering on the Core Workflows and User Engagement squads to design features that are delightful for users and feasible to build.
• Own features and components within our data visualizations, task management, notifications, and commenting experiences.
• Bring craft to your work: Care about the details, polish, and quality of what you ship.
• Contribute to our design vision: Work alongside our Senior Designer to bring our visual language and interaction patterns to life, applying established patterns thoughtfully as you design new features.
• Support discovery & research: Gather and synthesize user feedback and observed behavior to inform design decisions, working closely with senior designers on more complex research efforts.

Requirements

• Strategic: Build compelling business cases for design investments, connecting aesthetic and UX improvements to outcomes like retention, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborative: See engineering as a true partner, not a blocker, and build trust by understanding technical complexity and proposing solutions that respect it.
• Curious and Creative: Deeply listen to users, seek different perspectives, ask clarifying questions, and think creatively to find the best design solutions. Not afraid to delve into complex user problems in a technical domain.
• Forward-thinking: Hold a high bar for craft and have a clear vision of what "great" looks like, and find pragmatic paths to achieve it incrementally.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of design experience, ideally working on a complex B2B product, and a proven ability to lead design projects from beginning to end.
• A portfolio that reflects strengths in both user experience and aesthetic design, as well as in the implementation of user testing and research throughout the design process.
• AI-forward in design process: Actively use AI tools in your work and excited to help shape what great design looks like as AI changes product development.
• Able to plan for the long term while navigating short-term tradeoffs.
• Collaborate well across teams: Distill and incorporate feedback, communicate clearly, simplify complex concepts, articulate thoughts effectively, and ask the right questions to gain deeper insights.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment: Comfortable wearing multiple hats, contributing to design foundations, and fostering a culture of design thinking throughout the business.
