Product Designer

About The Role We're seeking a Product Designer who can create beautiful, intuitive experiences for museums, galleries, and collectors worldwide. You'll design the interfaces that help curators manage priceless artifacts and collectors track valuable assets worth millions. This role requires someone who can balance sophisticated aesthetics with practical usability, working across complex workflows for cataloging, search, exhibitions, and AI-powered features. What You'll Do Design end-to-end product experiences from concept to pixel-perfect implementationCreate elegant solutions for complex workflows in cataloging, search, and asset managementDesign interfaces that work beautifully across desktop, tablet, and mobileConduct user research with museum curators and private collectors to understand their needsBuild and maintain our design system to ensure consistency across the platformCollaborate closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented with high fidelityDesign AI-powered features like visual search and automated catalogingCreate prototypes to validate concepts and gather feedback What We're Looking For 3+ years of product design experience, preferably in B2B or SaaSStrong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and shipped productsProficiency in Figma and modern design toolsExperience designing complex, data-heavy interfacesUnderstanding of responsive design and mobile-first principlesExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisionsAttention to detail and appreciation for typography, spacing, and visual hierarchyComfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment Nice to Have Experience with design systems and component librariesBackground in museum technology, archives, or cultural heritageAppreciation for fine art, antiques, or collectingExperience designing AI/ML features or data visualizationFront-end development skills (HTML/CSS/React)Motion design or prototyping expertise What We Offer Competitive salary and equity packageRemote-friendly with optional NYC office accessHealth, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous PTO and paid holidaysProfessional development and conference budgetLatest design tools and equipmentWork with world-class museums and prestigious collectors
