About the role
The mission of the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with Spotify's unique value proposition for audio and video. This team works to scale the user experience for hundreds of millions of fans and hundreds of thousands of advertisers. This scale brings unique challenges as well as tremendous opportunities for artists and creators.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences across Spotify's self-serve advertising platform (Ads Manager), contributing to features like ad creation, targeting, reporting, optimization, and measurement.
- Collaborate with engineers to translate backend systems, APIs, and ML-powered features into interfaces that are intuitive and performant.
- Partner with Product Managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and content designers to shape product direction, advocate for user needs, and help influence your team's roadmap.
- Build prototypes using real data and motion where relevant to explore technical constraints, validate interaction models, and communicate product behavior in dynamic, data-driven environments.
- Support design efforts on internal tools used by operational teams, helping reduce manual processes and improve the efficiency and reliability of internal workflows.
- Contribute to a feedback-rich team culture that values critique, iteration, and craft excellence.
Requirements
- Experience designing complex, data-intensive B2B digital products.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and bringing structure and curiosity to problems where there isn't always a clear path forward.
- Curiosity about AI, whether that's using AI tools in your design workflow, designing AI-powered features, or both.
- Active seeking of feedback on your work and thinking, and giving thoughtful critique in return.
- Fostering inclusive collaboration: proactively bringing others in and holding space for different perspectives.
Qualifications
- Experience designing advertising, monetization, or creative automation tools.
- Background in operational tooling or designing for internal users with complex, high-volume workflows.
- Experience contributing to or maintaining large-scale design systems.
Skills

- Ability to connect design decisions to business goals and customer needs.

Pay
The United States base range for this position is $119,424.00 - 170,606.00, plus equity.
