Product Designer - $60.07 - $99.04 per hour

About the Role This role focuses on designing modern digital products that transform complex financial experiences into intuitive, user-centered solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to define problems, validate concepts, and deliver high-quality product experiences from discovery through launch and continuous iteration. The position combines product thinking, interaction design, AI-powered workflows, rapid prototyping, design systems, and close cross-functional collaboration. You will help shape product direction while contributing to the growth of a modern, AI-first product design practice. What You'll Do Own Product Work End-to-End: Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to define product problems, explore solution opportunities, validate concepts, and deliver production-ready solutions from discovery through launch and ongoing iteration.Prototype Using AI Tools: Utilize AI development and prototyping tools, including Cursor and Claude Code, to rapidly build, test, and refine user flows, interactions, and product concepts before working with Engineering on production implementation.Polish Validated Concepts Using Figma: Transform validated concepts into production-ready Figma designs with complete state coverage, strong design system alignment, and implementation-ready specifications.Build the Product Design Practice: Contribute to the evolution of the organization's product design function by helping establish design processes, best practices, and scalable design standards while taking ownership of significant product initiatives. Qualifications 4+ years of professional Product Design experience.Proven experience owning product initiatives from problem definition through launch and continuous iteration.Demonstrated success collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.Strong portfolio showcasing product thinking, interaction design, visual craftsmanship, and user-centered problem solving.Experience working within early-stage startup environments is preferred.Background designing B2B SaaS, financial technology products, or other systems-intensive software is preferred.Active use of AI tools within the product design workflow, including platforms such as Claude Code and Cursor.Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Work Environment Candidates interested in working in person alongside product leadership are welcome to work from the New York, NY office 3-5+ days per week.Remote employees participate in 1-2 company onsite gatherings each year.
