About the role

As a Product Design Engineer (Mechanical) at HOLT Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of mechanical components for our industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research and analysis to develop innovative mechanical solutions for product design.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical designs meet functional, safety, and performance requirements.
• Works closely with manufacturing engineers to translate design concepts into production-ready blueprints.
• Responsible for the integration of mechanical systems within larger product designs.
• Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design and/or product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of material properties and their applications in mechanical design.
• Experience with mechanical testing and analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
