Product Design Drafter - HOLT Manufacturing

About the role

As a Product Design Drafter at HOLT Manufacturing, you will play a crucial part in the design and development of machinery components.

Essential Functions

• Develop detailed drawings and schematics based on engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic standards.
• Use CAD software to create and modify product designs.
• Review and analyze existing designs to identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to translate designs into production-ready blueprints.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and drafting techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with product design and manufacturing processes is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
