About The Role
We are looking for a Product Definition Engineer (Systems / Applications Engineer) to drive the development of next-generation power devices including dc-dc converters, hot-swap controllers. You will translate system and customer needs into product specifications targeting automotive, and computing/server markets, while collaborating closely with R&D, marketing, and customers.
What you will do
- Analyze market trends and customer requirements across automotive, industrial, and server applications
- Define product requirements (CRS, design targets, datasheet parameters)
- Act as technical interface between customers and internal teams
- Perform competitive benchmarking (performance, cost, features)
- Own product roadmap and NPI pipeline
- Create business cases, perform ROI analysis, and own results
- Collaborate with cross-functional development team to bring products to market
- Train marketing and field applications to drive assigned portfolio to revenue
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience in applications, systems, or product definition engineering
- Experience with power ICs: dc-dc buck converters/controllers, hot-swap controllers
- Knowledge of automotive, industrial, or server power systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate system requirements into IC specifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
