About the Opportunity
The Product Data Analyst III will enable product teams to make informed, data-driven decisions that improve customer experience, engagement, and retention. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to define success metrics, validate product assumptions, measure experimentation results, and guide product strategy through data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define KPIs and measure success
- Analyze product usage, customer behavior, and funnel performance to identify trends
- Support experimentation and A/B testing by interpreting results and advising on actions
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Metabase and Amplitude
- Develop analyses to enhance product adoption, engagement, and retention
- Ensure consistency in metric definitions and trusted reporting across teams
- Use SQL, dbt, and analytics tools to transform and analyze data
- Train stakeholders in dashboard usage and analytics best practices
- Communicate complex data findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Promote a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in product or data analytics
- Proficiency in SQL and modern analytics platforms such as dbt, Metabase, Amplitude, or similar
- Experience supporting product experimentation and A/B testing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience creating dashboards and visual reports for business stakeholders
- Effective communication skills for diverse audiences
- Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative SaaS product environments
- Knowledge of cohort analysis, funnel optimization, and behavioral analytics
- Background in statistics, experimentation methods, or quantitative analysis
- Commitment to continuous learning and data-driven improvement
- Creative problem-solving ability
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The starting salary range is $115,000 to $123,000 per year, based on experience. Meaningful equity and additional benefits are offered.
