If so, join our global team as a Product Configuration & Compliance Engineer. In this collaborative role, you will connect product development, engineering, operations, and compliance teams to ensure products meet customer needs while adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in bringing new products to market by managing product configurations, ensuring compliance with industry requirements, and supporting successful global product launches. As a trusted technical expert, you will help build the foundation for scalable, compliant, and high-performing products, using your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to excellence to deliver innovative solutions customers can trust.

Responsibilities

  • Product Configuration Management: Translate customer or business requirements into structured product configurations, ensuring consistency across builds and releases.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure products comply with relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies (e.g., FDA/3A, safety, data privacy, industry-specific rules).
  • Build & Release Coordination: Manage digital or physical product builds, media libraries, and release schedules, often in agile environments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, product management, operations, QA, legal, and compliance teams to align product features with compliance needs.
  • Documentation & Traceability: Maintain configuration management databases (Master Specifications) and traceability matrices to link requirements to product features.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate compliance risks during product development and deployment.
  • Engineering Tools: Understanding of CAD management (NX) in a PLM environment (Teamcenter)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Preferred
  • Associates Degree in Engineering, IT, or Business considered
  • Experience in NX (preferred) or other 3D modelling
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with PLM preferred
  • Experience with SAP
  • 5+ years of experience in product development environment
  • Experience in BOM management
  • Good work ethic
  • Strong team player
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and oral
  • Self-starter

Pay

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000-$105,000 per year plus bonus. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
