Product Attorney (Blockchain Experience)
About the role
The PositionAn innovative financial technology company is seeking an experienced Product Attorney to support a temporary leave of absence. You'll partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to advise on product development, review customer-facing legal documentation, and help navigate legal and regulatory considerations for cutting-edge financial technology products. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with experience supporting technology or fintech products and familiarity with blockchain, digital assets, and emerging AI technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to advise on product development
- Review and provide feedback on customer-facing legal documentation
- Navigate legal and regulatory considerations for cutting-edge financial technology products
- Support the development of new products and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
- Experience supporting technology or fintech products
- Familiarity with blockchain, digital assets, and emerging AI technologies
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in at least one state
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of financial technology and/or blockchain, digital assets, and emerging AI technologies

Pay
This project starts at the beginning of August and is anticipated through mid-January, is fully remote, with preference for East Coast-based candidates, and requires 40 hours/week. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110 and $113. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
