Our technology is transforming how donors give and how nonprofits raise funds, but to scale our impact, we need product people who can turn deep customer understanding into products that ship. We're hiring at multiple levels: depending on your experience, you'll own an entire product line end to end, or own individual high-impact projects within one. Scope, title, and compensation are calibrated accordingly. You'll own real product surface area from day one: gathering insight from customers and internal teams, shaping priorities, defining requirements precisely enough that engineers can build fast, and shipping. You'll work closely with engineering, design, GTM, and our nonprofit and platform partners turning insights into scalable product. This is a high impact role, perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, customer experience, and execution. Drive product direction through customer insightLead discovery with our nonprofit and platform partners and internal teams to identify pain points and uncover opportunities that inform the product roadmapTurn ambiguous ideas into buildable productTake a one-liner request and turn it into a fully scoped, unambiguous spec that engineers can execute immediatelyOwn your surface's prioritiesTranslate field learnings and business goals into prioritized, high-ROI product initiatives that advance Chariot's mission of simplifying charitable paymentsMove fast on the riskiest assumptionForm the hypothesis, find the cheapest way to test it, define the metric, and track itIncrease engineering velocity through clarity and focusDefine clear product requirements, reduce ambiguity, and streamline cross-functional communication so engineering can move faster with fewer blockers and higher-quality outputNavigate product development with live clientsSuccessfully onboard clients while the product is actively being built, gathering critical feedback while maintaining client confidence and satisfaction👤 About You Must Haves 3+ years of product management experience — we're hiring at multiple levels and will match scope and title to your experienceFirst-principles product thinking: you connect customer pain points to product solutions, and behind your best work there's an insight others missedPrecise scoping and spec writing: you turn ambiguous requests into well-defined projects engineers can executeHighly organized and detail-oriented: you manage multiple parallel workstreams, follow through on commitments, and nothing falls through the cracksYou ship: a track record of work that actually got built, launched, and adoptedClear, followable communication, written and liveTechnical fluency — comfort with data models, API docs, webhooks/auth flows — whether from a CS degree or self-taught (expected for the most senior scope; a big plus otherwise)Note: Requirement scales with scope — expected at the most senior level, a strong plus otherwise.
