Focus on data migration and user support during an enterprise-wide implementation across twelve divisions. Daily activities include scrums, vendor meetings, and issue management during implementation waves.

Patient ID Application Overview

Identifies cancer patients by analyzing pathology and radiology reports using machine learning. The application supports nurse navigators in tracking and following up on patient care through a module called Journey. Two pilots have been completed and an enterprise implementation is planned for twelve remaining divisions.

  • Focuses on transitioning from an old system to the new Patient ID application, involving significant data migration tasks.
  • Requires proficiency with Excel and data validation to ensure accurate data transfer.
  • Involves learning the application and advising users on its functionality.

Team Structure and Collaboration

Currently 8 product analysts, mostly full-time employees, collaborating closely with five business analysts managed by another leader. The team works with internal developers and vendor resources to support the Patient ID Journey project, coordinating efforts for implementation across divisions.

Work Arrangement

Six-month contract focused on the Patient ID implementation, with no expected extension beyond that period. Initially, onsite presence in Nashville is recommended for training, transitioning to a hybrid work model. Potential for full-time opportunities within the broader team during the contract tenure.

Daily Activities and Implementation Process

  • Daily scrums to coordinate priorities and task assignments among analysts.
  • Frequent meetings with vendors to finalize requirements and plan implementation waves.
  • During implementation phases, support data migration, user onboarding, and issue resolution through ongoing communication and backlog management.

Interview Process and Candidate Selection

The interview process includes a phone screen with John Roll, a panel interview with the team, and a final interview with the AVP Kevin Drek. Emphasis on thorough resume review and cultural fit to ensure candidates can potentially transition to full-time roles within the organization.

The team seeks to fill the position as soon as possible to prepare for September implementations. Resumes can be sent via Webex messages, with John Roll being highly responsive. The initial candidate search is exclusive to internal resources for about five days before opening to external vendors.
