About the Role
This position includes personal mortgage production alongside building and coaching a mortgage sales team. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing new mortgage loan officers while adhering to compliance standards and other assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain relationships with builders, realtors, and financial planners.
- Build relationships and cross-sell opportunities with the Bank’s personnel and branches.
- Identify opportunities for growth.
- Train and develop loan officers on a one-on-one basis for activities related to the position.
- Coach individual loan officers in conducting sales meetings and calling procedures with realtors.
- Hold timely sales/training meetings for loan officers to provide ongoing reinforcement and training.
- Prepare and update timely reporting of production, goals achieved, commissions, and other related activities.
- Monitor and report progress of loan officers on activities related to shared goals with other business partners.
- Provide timely communication with Regional Management staff on activities of individual lending areas.
- Directly supervise two to eight employees in the Mortgage Lending Department, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and addressing complaints.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- NMLS registration required.
- Proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Completion of all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
- Windows-based computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office systems.
- Experience in event coordination, logistics for seminars, and presentations.
- Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, speeches, and articles for publication.
- Strong oral communication skills to present information to management, public groups, and boards of directors.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and technical journals.
- Proficiency in applying advanced mathematical concepts (e.g., exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, sampling theory, factor analysis).
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Location
