Producing Lending Manager - ANAHEIM HILLS (SAFE Act)
About the Role
This position provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility, overseeing a geographical region with accountability for all accounts, client deals, and associates in that area. The Producing Lending Manager SAFE Act applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to deliver value-added perspectives or advisory services and may contribute to developing new techniques, models, and plans. The role requires strong communication and diplomacy skills, with responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of results, and shared accountability for planning and budgets. Full supervisory duties include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and daily task direction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a geographical region, managing all accounts, client deals, and associates.
- Responsible for mortgage loan production, including registering and closing loans and direct client contact.
- Manage ongoing relationships with consumer customers and evaluate moderately complex issues with potential sales impact.
- Apply in-depth sales knowledge and industry expertise to develop new sales techniques and meet or exceed sales volume objectives.
- Cultivate key referral relationships (Realtors, CPAs, Builders, etc.) to drive mortgage business into the bank.
- Manage and develop a sales team, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Operate the team at optimal efficiency and resolve complex client deal structures.
- Identify client needs and present customized solutions to meet and exceed those needs.
- Identify new market opportunities and work closely with the operations team to ensure quality, NPS, and best-in-class client experience.
- Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., branch teams) for client referrals and team support.
- Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations while adhering to ethical standards and safeguarding the firm’s reputation.
- Supervise team activities, creating accountability for maintaining compliance and ethical standards.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of previous management experience with proven leadership in a sales environment.
- Proven experience leading, managing, motivating, and retaining a sales force.
- Ability to identify key customer needs and develop programs, processes, or products to address them.
- Strong negotiation and influence management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of internal and external management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Maintain high standards of product, service, and process quality; attention to detail and data integrity.
- Process-oriented, results-driven, and able to meet or exceed personal sales goals consistently.
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse sales force using multiple channels with a diverse client population.
- NMLS registration and SAFE Act compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Pay
Full-time salary range: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00. In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
