Producing Branch Manager - Mortgage (Loan Officer to Leader)

About the role

PRMI is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer who wants to build a team and earn on its production while continuing to originate loans. The role provides processing, underwriting, closing and back-office support so you can focus on production, recruiting and coaching. You keep your own book and add team income, earning based on the branch’s profit and loss, without handling operations cleanup. PRMI is a 28‑year, multi‑billion‑dollar lender licensed in 49 states with strong access to capital markets and modern loan origination technology, offering conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo loans and programs with over 40 state housing agencies, backed by a direct seller/servicer to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae.

Responsibilities

• Keep originating purchase and refinance loans through your referral network.
• Recruit, mentor and coach loan officers, a few hours a week and not all day.
• Lead the branch's culture and performance, and grow the branch's P&L.

Requirements

• About 3 years in retail mortgage origination with a steady track record.
• Active, licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS); hold a Principal Lending license or able to obtain one where required.
• Strong referral network of real estate agents and builders.
• Player‑coach, senior LO or team lead ready to run your own branch.

Pay

Base salary range $80K–$220K, with starting salary set according to your production history, plus commission on personal production and a branch override. Sign‑on bonus available.
