About the Role

As a Producer Support Specialist, you’ll be the heart of our relationship with insurance agents, providing personalized support and ensuring smooth, timely interactions. You will work closely with our agents to understand their needs, resolve challenges, and help them succeed. Your role will be pivotal in fostering lasting partnerships while collaborating across departments to deliver seamless solutions. Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve a high volume of calls with efficiency, compassion, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Handle a variety of challenges, from resolving service issues to helping producers with the resources they need to thrive in their roles. Proactively approach daily responsibilities to ensure agents get the support they need, on time, every time.
  • Engage with agents across multiple communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and live chats, providing consistent, friendly, and efficient support. Answer questions or provide troubleshooting to make the process seamless for our partners.
  • Work one-on-one with Life & Health Insurance Producers, identifying their needs, managing accounts, and utilizing an in-depth working knowledge of the company’s brands, systems, and processes to support their success.
  • Acquire and grow a working knowledge of the Life & Health Insurance industry by staying abreast of trends, opportunities, and marketing and enrollment systems.
  • Participate in a positive, motivated, and challenging customer service-oriented team environment that promotes ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate proactively with senior leadership on the performance of agent service strategies and programs.
  • Complete required training, including insurance licensing, contracting, and certification.
  • Follow office procedures such as answering phones, utilizing scripts, handling incoming and outgoing emails, typing documents, and entering detailed notations.
  • Accurately and consistently update the company database with agent and customer information. Keep meticulous notes in the system to quickly reconcile any discrepancies with agents and/or customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience with customer service is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with current product lines and customer base is desired.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish required) or Vietnamese desired.
  • Must reside in the Houston, Texas area.
  • Must be able to work in the office.
