About the role
The Producer generates new business and provides ongoing service to clients within an insurance brokerage setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and achieve sales targets
- Identify, qualify, and set appointments with prospects
- Handle leads and cross-sell multiple lines of business
- Prepare applications and marketing submissions
- Present proposals to clients
- Maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with Account Managers to design and sustain insurance programs
- Ensure timely account servicing and problem resolution
- Track production and assist with collections
- Uphold the company’s image in the community
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in intangible products
- Ability to identify potential clients
- Property & Casualty license
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel locally
