About the role
Kajabi is expanding its YouTube presence and is seeking a Producer/Director to develop and execute YouTube-first video formats that align with Kajabi’s mission, voice, and learning philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute YouTube-first video formats aligned with Kajabi’s mission, voice, and learning philosophy.
- Develop concepts, episode outlines, interview structures, and production plans.
- Direct hosts, creators, customers, and guests to capture authentic, engaging performances.
- Partner closely with editors to shape story structure, pacing, and creative vision throughout post-production.
- Collaborate with strategists, marketers, and creative teams to produce videos aligned with channel goals.
- Manage production schedules, crews, vendors, locations, and shoot-day logistics.
- Continuously refine creative formats based on YouTube performance, audience insights, and best practices.
- Maintain a high creative bar while balancing efficiency, organization, and scalability.
- Partner with Snowball to analyze YouTube performance data and continuously optimize for reach, retention, and engagement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience producing and directing YouTube or digital-first content.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional storytelling and creative leadership.
- Excellent interviewing and directing skills, with the ability to make on-camera talent feel natural and confident.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with experience managing multiple productions simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally with creative, production, and marketing teams.
- Confidence providing creative feedback throughout production and post-production.

Qualifications
- Deep understanding of YouTube storytelling, audience retention, pacing, and viewer engagement.
- Experience helping build or grow YouTube channels.
