Produce Clerk

About the role

Produce Clerk is responsible for the proper stocking and rotation of merchandise in the produce and floral department, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure fresh, high-quality offerings.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate produce and floral items to maintain freshness and quality.
• Trim, wash, and prepare produce as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of produce displays.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Knowledge of produce and floral care.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Pay

$18.47 to $21.00 per hour.

Schedule

Variable schedule to accommodate store operations, including evenings and weekends.
