Responsibilities
- Provide excellent Customer Service
- Interact with general public and co-workers
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
- Write simple correspondence
- Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds
- Assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the perishable (produce) displays under the supervision of the Produce Manager
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods
Requirements
- Ability to read and write Spanish/English
- Basic PC/Outlook skills
- Retail Management Certificate (preferred)
Qualifications
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store.
