Produce Associate

Position Summary

What You'll Do

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
• Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
• Work in other areas as needed to track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise.
• Prepare products according to established standards, maintaining product safety and following company sanitation guidelines.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Drive the performance of the area by utilizing digital tools and implementing perpetual inventory management techniques.
• Eliminate waste and guide peers while focusing on customer needs.
• Model high-quality service and products, valuing the member's experience.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
• Implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.

Pay and Schedule

• The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00.
• Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour.
