Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring these qualities by managing availability, cleanliness, and freshness. Your positive attitude and excellent customer service are key to enhancing the shopping experience.
What You'll Do
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
- Work in other areas as needed to track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise.
- Prepare products according to established standards, maintaining product safety and following company sanitation guidelines.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Drive the performance of the area by utilizing digital tools and implementing perpetual inventory management techniques.
- Eliminate waste and guide peers while focusing on customer needs.
- Model high-quality service and products, valuing the member's experience.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
- Implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback.

Pay and Schedule
- The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00.
- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour.
