Position Summary
Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring that members and their families enjoy fresh, affordable produce. Your positive attitude and excellent customer service are key to enhancing the shopping experience.
What You'll Do
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
- Work in other areas as needed, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
- Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise.
- Prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards.
- Maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Drive the performance of the area.
- Utilize digital tools; use perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products.
- Eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs.
- Assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
- Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the produce area.
- Model high-quality service and products.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
- Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
- Carry out tasks; communicate progress and information.
- Determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities.
- Adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with produce and a passion for customer service.

- Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00*
- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
