Position Summary
Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring that members and their families enjoy fresh, affordable produce. Your positive attitude and excellent customer service are key to enhancing the shopping experience.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide customer service, and adapt to changing work scenarios.
- Be an Expert: Understand and prepare produce according to established standards, ensure product safety, and adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
- Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions.
- Be an Owner: Drive area performance, manage inventory, eliminate waste, guide peers, and address customer needs.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high-quality service, and exhibit enthusiasm and commitment.
- Comply with company policies and standards, and complete work assignments and priorities.
