Produce Associate

Position Summary

Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring these qualities are met, enhancing the shopping experience for members.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, collaborate with teams, provide customer service, and adapt to changing work scenarios.
• Be an Expert: Understand and prepare produce according to established standards, ensure product safety, and adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
• Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology for immediate decisions.
• Be an Owner: Drive area performance, manage inventory, eliminate waste, guide peers, and address customer needs.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high-quality service, and execute the basics at the highest level.
• Comply with company policies and standards, and complete work assignments efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Preferred: Passion for produce, experience with produce, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to change, curiosity and creativity, and effective problem-solving skills.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00* with additional compensation based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
