What you'll do...

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and greet members.

  • Ensure a clean, neat, and ready-to-shop area.

  • Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner.

  • Manage inventory to avoid out-of-stock and overstock situations.

Be a Team Member

  • Understand and adhere to quality standards for various produce types.

  • Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.

  • Work in other areas as needed to support the business.

Be an Expert

  • Prepare produce items according to established standards.

  • Maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines.

  • Adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Be a Techie

  • Leverage digital tools to make immediate business decisions.

  • Adapt to new tools and encourage their use among colleagues.

Be an Owner

  • Drive the performance of the produce area.

  • Stock and rotate department products using perpetual inventory management techniques.

  • Eliminate waste and ensure quality and date control standards.

  • Guide peers and address customer needs.

  • Assist customers according to company policies and procedures.

Be a Talent Ambassador

  • Model high-quality service and products, valuing the member's experience.

  • Execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality.

  • Show energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Compliance

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

  • Implement action plans and use the Open Door Policy.

  • Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners.

  • Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.

  • Determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities.

Pay & Benefits

  • The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00.

  • Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid.
