Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring these qualities by managing availability, cleanliness, and freshness. Your positive attitude and excellent customer service are key to enhancing the shopping experience.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Stay updated on products, collaborate with teams, provide customer service, and adapt to changing work scenarios.
- Be an Expert: Understand produce quality processes and specifications, prepare products according to standards, and follow sanitation guidelines.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools for sales, improve shopping experiences, and engage associates; utilize handheld technology for immediate decisions.
- Be an Owner: Lead the area, manage inventory, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, guide peers, and address customer needs.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high-quality service, and execute the basics at the highest level.
- Comply with company policies and standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with produce.
- Customer service experience.
- Change management skills.
- Out-of-the-box thinking.
Pay & Benefits
The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00*. Additional compensation may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour. Benefits include health benefits, financial benefits, paid time off, and more. For details, visit One.Walmart.
