Position Summary
Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring these qualities are maintained and enhancing the shopping experience for members.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; provide customer service; and assist in other areas as needed.
- Be an Expert: Understand and prepare produce according to established standards; ensure product safety; and adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology for immediate decisions; and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage inventory; eliminate waste; guide peers; and address customer needs.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department; model high-quality service and products; and execute the basics at the highest level of quality.
- Comply with company policies and standards; complete work assignments; and adapt to changes and feedback.
