Produce Associate

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide customer service, and adapt to changing work scenarios.
• Be an Expert: Understand and prepare produce according to established standards, adhere to safety guidelines, and follow relevant laws and regulations.
• Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions.
• Be an Owner: Drive area performance, manage inventory, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, guide peers, and address customer needs.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high-quality service, and execute the basics at the highest level of quality.
• Comply with company policies and standards, and complete work assignments efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with produce.
• Customer service orientation.
• Change management skills.
• Out-of-the-box thinking.
• Effective communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*. Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Benefits include health benefits, financial benefits, paid time off, military leave pay, and educational programs.
