Position Summary

Our members value quality and freshness in their produce purchases. As a produce team member, you play a crucial role in ensuring these qualities are met by managing availability, cleanliness, and freshness. Your interactions with members are key to enhancing their shopping experience.

What you'll do...

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and greet members.

  • Ensure the area is clean and ready for members.

  • Receive and stock merchandise efficiently.

  • Manage inventory to avoid out-of-stock and overstock situations.

Be a Team Member

  • Understand and follow quality standards for produce.

  • Use digital tools to support sales and improve the shopping experience.

  • Lead by example and ensure quality and customer needs are met.

Be an Expert

  • Know the processes and specifications for various types of produce.

  • Prepare products according to established standards.

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.

Be a Techie

  • Leverage digital tools to make informed decisions about production, training, and product quality.

  • Adapt to new tools and encourage their use among colleagues.

Be an Owner

  • Drive the performance of the produce area by using digital tools.

  • Implement perpetual inventory management techniques.

  • Ensure quality and date control standards are met.

  • Eliminate waste and assist customers according to company policies.

Be a Talent Ambassador

  • Model high-quality service and products in the produce area.

  • Execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality.

  • Exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Compliance

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

  • Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners.

  • Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.

  • Communicate progress and information.

  • Determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities.

  • Adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Pay and Benefits

  • Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00*

  • Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid.

  • Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Positive attitude and ability to lead by example.
