Responsibilities
- Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
- Acquire and share knowledge of produce.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all customers and associates.
- Culls department for quality control, scans and records shrink.
- Takes and fills special orders for customers.
- Plants attractive produce displays, using color and texture to enhance the department.
- Orders product.
- Pulls shrink daily.
- Stocks, rotates, and merchandise product.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products within the department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
- Comply with all company policies and standards.
- Possess the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Be production driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks, while standing.
- Possess the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Possess the ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 degrees.
- Willing to work the number of hours required to meet company objectives, with the understanding that occasionally business needs will require additional time.
- Willing to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings.
