PROD OPERATOR I

Responsibilities

• On the job training on our donut production line and areas for dough and batter make up, glazing, icing, decorating, order picking and rack loading.
• Work as a member of a team environment or group of people.
• Conduct activities in a safe manner, follow Company safety guidelines and requirements and use personal protective equipment when required.
• Self-starter, gets involved quickly, takes action to achieve production goals.
• Works with sense of urgency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Ability to stand / walk over the course of an 8 or 10 hour shift.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work a rotational schedule shift, work weekends, and most holidays.
• Properly store, wrap, label, date and rotate products and materials as defined in our facility processes.
• Keep bakery area and floors clean, dry and free from debris.
• Aid in the cleaning and deep cleaning of the production areas including equipment, coolers and freezers.
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist other members of the bakery team where needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a valid Driver License.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Skills

• Good hand and eye co-ordination to work on fast speed conveyor belts.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Read, write and communicate in English.

Shift Hours: with staggered start times between 4am to 8:30pm. (subject to change with training and volume demands)
