Responsibilities
- Accomplish tasks using software programs such as Contracting Writing System (ConWrite), FedBizOpps, EDA, Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation, and AF Data Services
- Provide assistance to the CO with preparing contracts and modifications, distributing contract documentation, providing database support, and computer applications
- Support contract closeout, collect data for audits and reports, coordinate with other government agencies and DFAS, create, retrieve, and request contracting reports, produce acquisition documentation, prepare source selection material, and track contract milestones
- Perform self-inspections and present detailed and comprehensive reports with corrective actions taken or required, ensuring complete and quality resolution of discrepancies
- Afford assistance in assessing and revising policies and procedures to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work
- Participate in discussions and meetings, presenting clear, concise, and well-structured presentations addressing procurement issues, considering the audience's composition, knowledge level, and desired outcome
- Identify and resolve problems, both broadly and in detail, through discussions with responsible members in meetings or working groups
Requirements
- Clearance: Secret
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field with at least three years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, three of which must be in the DoD
- Seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a procurement technician
