Procurement System Lead

About the role

The Procurement System Lead will join Flint Hills Resources' Procurement team, reporting to the Procurement Director for Transformation and Analytics. Based in Wichita, KS, this role involves significant travel (up to 15%) and overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Understand and manage the functionality of the MCI Track system, capturing, vetting, and settling labor, per diem, materials, and equipment with suppliers.
• Maintain system/data integrity by managing master data and ensuring proper setup and compliance across enterprise systems.
• Support alignment between MCI Track and Coupa by ensuring accurate contractor costs, invoices, and approvals flow between systems.
• Provide backup coverage to the Coupa System Lead during vacations, travel, and sick time.
• Develop, manage, and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships, seeking constructive feedback to improve processes.
• Identify trends, root causes, and opportunities to reduce value leakage, improve process efficiency, and enhance financial controls.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of business experience in an accounting, procurement, supply chain, or systems-centric role.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and presenting to groups.
• Available for on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Services procurement experience.
• Experience with MCI Track, Coupa, or other ERP/Procurement Systems.
• Proven ability to identify, communicate, and implement process and technology improvements.
• Ability to extract, transform, and analyze large amounts of data.
