Essential Job Functions
- Identify and vet additional regional and national 3rd party lighting installers that meet all required licenses and insurance standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with labor partners.
- Negotiate with 3rd party labor partners and improve pricing/costs of labor partners to ensure optimal margin results and profitability.
- Participate in labor partner program by providing input in performance measures, accountability, utilization, incentives, and best practices.
- Manage escalated issues related to labor partner execution.
- Create and maintain Intent to Bid documents (ITBs).
- Create PO’s from awarded labor.
- Accountable for data entry and maintaining Salesforce & Oracle.
- Create Request for Quote packages for Labor Partners including SOW, RFQs, Spec Sheets, etc.
- Manage the filing and storage of the RFQ packages.
- Maintain labor data in Smartsheets.
- Gather data and present at yearly Labor Partner Summit.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills And Abilities
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Expertise in presenting and communicating with labor partners.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, financial management and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel used for tracking and analysis.
- Able to take direction from multiple people, prioritize work and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Able to work well in a team environment as well as individually.
- Detail-orientated, high degree of accuracy and ability to multi-task.
Education And Experience
- Four-year degree preferred in Business or related degree.
- Required: Labor Partner procurement and negotiations, Workload planning for labor partners.
- PREFERRED/OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Labor partner (lighting installs, industrial, commercial, retail, others) management, sourcing, negotiating, and licensing experience. 3+ years technical experience to include knowledge on electrical, compliance, and licensing.
Physical Job Requirements And Working Conditions
- 10% travel, with some overnights required.
- The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
