Essential Job Functions

  • Identify and vet additional regional and national 3rd party lighting installers that meet all required licenses and insurance standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with labor partners.
  • Negotiate with 3rd party labor partners and improve pricing/costs of labor partners to ensure optimal margin results and profitability.
  • Participate in labor partner program by providing input in performance measures, accountability, utilization, incentives, and best practices.
  • Manage escalated issues related to labor partner execution.
  • Create and maintain Intent to Bid documents (ITBs).
  • Create PO’s from awarded labor.
  • Accountable for data entry and maintaining Salesforce & Oracle.
  • Create Request for Quote packages for Labor Partners including SOW, RFQs, Spec Sheets, etc.
  • Manage the filing and storage of the RFQ packages.
  • Maintain labor data in Smartsheets.
  • Gather data and present at yearly Labor Partner Summit.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills And Abilities

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Expertise in presenting and communicating with labor partners.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, financial management and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel used for tracking and analysis.
  • Able to take direction from multiple people, prioritize work and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Able to work well in a team environment as well as individually.
  • Detail-orientated, high degree of accuracy and ability to multi-task.

Education And Experience

  • Four-year degree preferred in Business or related degree.
  • Required: Labor Partner procurement and negotiations, Workload planning for labor partners.
  • PREFERRED/OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Labor partner (lighting installs, industrial, commercial, retail, others) management, sourcing, negotiating, and licensing experience. 3+ years technical experience to include knowledge on electrical, compliance, and licensing.

Physical Job Requirements And Working Conditions

  • 10% travel, with some overnights required.
  • The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
