Procurement Specialist – Buyer - Anchorage, AK

Responsibilities

• Procure materials during project development and planning phases.
• Obtain budgetary pricing and lead times on materials.
• Ensure Material Requisition (MR) statuses are correct and up-to-date.
• Create and issue Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Manage Material Status Reports (MSRs) and coordinate with Quality for inspections and tests.
• Coordinate with COPA Supply Chain to resolve PO terms and conditions and invoice issues.
• Assist with vendor disposal of project material excess.
• Support Quality Management by ensuring compliance with best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, and document control teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering procurement with 3+ years of experience in vendor data and material requisitioning in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Advanced technical, practical, and commercial experience.
• Leadership and communication skills.
