Procurement Specialist (Bilingual in Mandarin)

About the role

Sunny Health & Fitness is seeking an experienced Production/Procurement Specialist to oversee the logistics of their supply chain. This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of products from order placement to production, import, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of products including order placement, production scheduling, import, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate and communicate with forwarders, brokers, and truckers for freight-related issues.
• Work closely with other teams to inspect merchandise upon receipt and address any imperfections or incorrect designs.
• Ensure complete technical information for new items, including taking photos, weighing, measuring, and entering data into software.
• Use email and spreadsheets to manage production flow.
• Resolve production and development issues with agents and designers, covering scheduling, pricing, quality checking, and packaging.
• Book import shipments and maintain backup receiving inventory.
• Communicate daily with overseas offices and vendors to track development and production statuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of experience in related fields
• Bilingual in Mandarin (preferred)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with quick and accurate results
• Strong time management and project skills
