Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI development and execution adhering to strict deadlines and key project dates
  • Analyze supplier pricing, cost models, and total cost of ownership
  • Support or lead contract negotiations in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and develop award recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and sourcing strategies
  • Manage supplier relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contractual obligations
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers
  • Draft agreements based on the Request for Proposal Requirements and Vendor’s Proposal
  • Assist with onboarding new vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Familiarity with procurement best practices and sourcing methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels
  • Possess strong, effective presentation skills
  • Must possess a high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible and cooperative
  • Strong Analytical Mindset with excellent negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Exhibit strong computer skills, proficient in Windows applications, Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree in business finance or the equivalent of 4-5 years of Business Finance or Materials Management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist, Purchasing Agent, Buyer, or equivalent
  • Experience with ERP or procurement systems (SAP Preferred)
  • Experience drafting and managing RFP for a large variety of products/services and supplier evaluations
  • Experience supporting or leading contract negotiations

Physical Requirements

  • Rarely lifting/carrying a max of 20 lbs
  • Rarely pushing/pulling a max of 10 lbs
  • Rarely working outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions
  • Rarely working in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter
  • Continuously sitting
  • Occasionally standing/walking

Additional Working Conditions/Aspects

  • Ability to travel between offices, as required
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language
