About the Role

The Specialist, Procurement, plays a vital role in supporting Logically's sales team and the company by managing the procurement, purchasing, and receiving of hardware and software for our customers, as well as handling client-owned inventory. This position is based in our Dublin, OH office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely ordering of hardware and software to support Logically's managed services goals.
  • Order technical equipment, software licensing, office supplies, and approved snacks for internal departments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to anticipate purchasing needs and general inventory considerations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Inventory Manager to align procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Review orders for quantity, specifications, delivery requirements, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Execute purchase orders (POs) following vendor contracts and company policies.
  • Process renewals for existing software licenses and maintenance agreements.
  • Collaborate with the Quoting department to ensure sales-related information is added to the ConnectWise system.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in procurement.
  • Ensure fulfillment of POs through physical reconciliation in ConnectWise, comparing shipped items to vendor packing lists/invoices.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage and accuracy.
  • Proactively identify organizational purchasing trends to support procurement team development.
  • Collaborate with internal/external associates to resolve account inquiries.
  • Create and document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1-3+ years of experience in procurement activities.
  • Experience in Software as a Service, IT Hardware, Cloud Services, or Professional Services is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of ConnectWise or similar systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is preferred.
  • Strong team player with excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Business acumen to translate requirements into solutions.
  • Flexibility and ability to remain calm under stress while managing multiple priorities.
  • Sound problem-solving skills with persistence to generate options and select the best solution.
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Effective communication with customers and management at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and support team members.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment up to 35 lbs.
