About the role
BAMCo is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support nationwide trailer maintenance operations. You will source and purchase parts, materials, and services for technicians, ensuring timely and budget-conscious procurement.
Responsibilities
- Source and purchase trailer parts, shop tools, and vendor services
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
- Track purchasing data using ERP and CMMS systems
- Work closely with operations and field teams to ensure parts availability
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience (fleet or transportation industry preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems and CMMS systems
- Solid Excel skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of trailer components or service operations (a plus)
