What You’ll Do

  • Generate and manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bill of material requirements.
  • Analyze vendor quotations for pricing, lead times, terms, and sustainability standards.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices, delivery schedules, and terms.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and Finance teams to keep projects on track.
  • Track purchase orders and deliveries, proactively resolving any issues with vendors.
  • Maintain and update vendor databases, including performance scores and certifications.
  • Contribute to procurement improvement projects and innovative process development.
  • Support project closeout by collecting test reports, warranties, and manuals from vendors.
  • Participate in audits and help develop standard procedures for the team.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous procurement experience with large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong analytical, negotiating, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management.
  • Experience in the utility or industrial sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment is a bonus.
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (ISM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management preferred.
