About the role

The Procurement Sourcing Leader plays a pivotal role in building, maturing, and scaling the supply base for Copeland's next generation of strategic platforms. This role sits at the intersection of sourcing, engineering, operations, and supplier development, ensuring new suppliers are identified, qualified, and ramped effectively to support aggressive program timeliness and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier onboarding and ramp-up activities for new strategic platforms, ensuring readiness across quality, capacity, cost, and delivery.
  • Manage program timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation plans related to supplier performance and sourcing deliverables.
  • Partner with engineering and operations to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies and supplier capability needs.
  • Facilitate cross-functional program reviews, escalating risks and driving resolution to keep programs on track.
  • Travel up to 25-30% of the time depending on projects.

Pay

Schedule

Hybrid work arrangement with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supplier development, program management, or NPI sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier capability assessment, and supply chain risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-phase programs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
