Procurement Planner
About the role
The Procurement Replenishment Planner plays a crucial role in managing inventory and procurement activities to support business operations and customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders based on inventory needs and demand forecasts
- Cook with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to delays, shortages, and quality
- Analyze inventory levels and demand trends to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Adjust replenishment parameters, including reorder points and safety stock levels
- Identify and manage excess, aging, and slow-moving inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory and procurement data within ERP systems and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies and communicate supply risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field
- Experience in procurement, inventory planning, replenishment planning, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency in ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to analyze data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or consumer goods environment
- Knowledge of demand forecasting methods and inventory optimization practices
- Experience with supplier performance tracking and purchasing processes
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles
Pay
