Planning Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Planning Procurement Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with organizational goals. This includes sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sources materials and equipment from various suppliers
• Negotiates contracts with vendors to ensure best value for money
• Manages procurement processes to meet deadlines and budget constraints
• Ensures compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
• Works closely with other departments to identify and secure necessary resources
• Monitors supplier performance and implements corrective actions as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent understanding of procurement policies and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement methodologies and tools
• Experience with procurement software such as SAP or Oracle
• Understanding of cost analysis and financial management

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
